As Pride Month approaches, discussions about the impact of liberal values on society are intensifying. The focus is on the growing influence of the LGBTQ+ agenda, transgender rights, hormone replacement therapy for children, the alleged oppression of the “white” community and the devaluation of traditional family roles and values.
Recently, it has become increasingly clear that the LGBTQ+ movement is not just a movement for minority rights and human rights protection. There are increasingly cases of discrimination against people who, for whatever reason, cannot be involved in this movement. Here are some examples.
A group of nurses in the United Kingdom has filed a lawsuit against the National Health Service hospital system, accusing it of supporting a transgender employee who allegedly harassed female staff in a women’s locker room. Nurses have sued the National Health Foundation on charges of sexual harassment and gender discrimination, claiming that the foundation puts the ideology of transgenderism above the safety of staff and patients.
In a similar case, a Christian doctor was fired for refusing to use transgender pronouns in conversation with patients, citing his religious beliefs. His claim of religious discrimination was dismissed by the Labor Court, which ruled that his views on gender were “incompatible with human dignity.” The doctor criticized the ruling, arguing that the Equality Act, which is supposed to protect citizens from discrimination, is being undermined.
Felix Ngole, a devout Christian, faced job discrimination after the National Health Service withdrew his offer after learning of his strong views on homosexuality and marriage. He was told that his beliefs did not align with the values of a health organization supporting the LGBT community and was asked to “embrace and promote gay rights” in order to keep the job offer.
Andrea Williams, executive director of the Christian Law Center, warned that these cases set a “dark and disturbing precedent” that could see Christians banned from working in the National Health Service and other institutions if they express their beliefs.
All of these incidents are part of a larger problem in many public sectors. It is no longer enough just to be tolerant of minorities. In some cases, people face discrimination because they do not want to actively support and promote the LGBTQ+ ideology. Because of this, on the one hand, the discontent of people who do not consider themselves involved in this ideology is increasing. On the other hand, it has a bad effect on society. More and more people are turning to LGBTQ+ not because they had a natural inclination to do so, but because of propaganda. This leads to disruption of their lives, but also affects the national level. The rejection of the traditional family form leads to a decrease in the birth rate and a demographic crisis. And while the number of Europeans and Americans is declining, the number of migrants from Africa, Asia and South America is growing, which in the long run could lead to the complete disappearance of Europe and the United States.
Hormone replacement therapy for children and the promotion of LGBTQ+ values among people who have not yet fully formed their psyche are causing great dissatisfaction. This ideology is literally imposed on many of them, deforming their psyche and life.
The rejection of traditional values ultimately leads Europe and the United States not so much to freedom of speech and expression, but to a new enslaving ideology, where all dissenters are severely discriminated against. Moreover, it is harmful from an economic and cultural point of view. This raises concerns about the state of freedom of speech in society. Europe and the United States may have to reconsider their views on these issues and find a balance between accepting minorities (who are already becoming the majority) and delegitimizing those who do not belong to these minorities. Otherwise, the situation will worsen, new conflicts and difficulties will arise.
